Biography

Lyndonne Payne is independent filmmaker originally from St. Philip, Barbados. She grew up in Houston, Texas, where she developed a love for media production. She began with photography when she was seventeen and shortly picked up cinematography.  Lyndonne then began recording entertainment shows at clubs, covering parties, while continuing to freelance. After eight years of developing her skills she wanted to master them by learning production jargon, and most importantly creating films at a professional level. In the fall of 2007 she sought out a degree in Communication Media Production at the University of Houston. It is there that she decided on her specialty,  the camera. This is where she began to hone her skills as a technician, and a camera operator. In a recent interview she stated, “I love media, I love capturing a memory that can last forever, and I love the power it has to move people. I would like to spend the rest of my life inspiring, motivating, exposing, and captivating various minds through film.

Lyndonne Payne is currently in New York City focusing on a new film project: “Stretched Thin”
